The Troy Record and other news outlets reported Thursday on NYS Governor Kathy Hochul’s Sept. 27 announcement of plans to expand transfer pathways between community colleges and 19 four-year colleges and universities in the State University of New York system.
A SUNY Transformation Fund is proposed for the next state budget to establish dual-admission agreements between two- and four-year schools. The agreement pairing the University at Albany with Hudson Valley Community College, already UAlbany’s largest transfer partner, will be among the first agreements to be created.
